Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging, working with our Hansa Meyer Global office in Germany, received and positioned two port cranes in preparation for assembly at the Port of Wilmington, Delaware. Originating from Poland and Vietnam, each crane was directly offloaded from their respective ship, transported within the port facility and then staged at the designated assembly spot. As with all port activities, safety, timing, and flawless execution is critical. Hansa Meyer's Operators and Project Management collaborated on a detailed transport plan, which was closely followed, leading to a successfully completed job. Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging deployed a combination of equipment for the transports including Goldhofer PST SL-E's, an STZ-9 and two TK 90's. Thanks to the entire global team from Hansa Meyer for another outstanding operation.
