Direct Discharge of Steel Mill Products

Originating from Europe, and partnering with Hansa Meyer Germany, Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging received and transported 4 units of steel mill products to Calvert, AL. All units were directly discharged from the ship, with the exception of the largest unit that was picked from the ship onto a floating crane and then placed onto 10 lines of Goldhofer THP/DR. In addition to the cargo above, there were also 3 flatbeds of accessories all of which were successfully transported. Please enjoy the below pictures of this project.

Military Oshkosh becomes Hansa Meyer Unit 495

Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging's newest truck is a Military Oshkosh M1070 HET. The Oshkosh received a new paint job in Hansa Meyer blue, updated counterweights, including a roller for it's two 55,000 lbs winches; making it Hansa Meyer Unit 495. The first project using the new unit, was the transportation of 8 tanks in Minnesota from the production facility to a staging area. Transported on a specially designed trailer with 12 dollies and 2 turntables, this project was successfully executed by our Hansa Meyer team. Please enjoy the below pictures.
