Cleaner Power from Clean Coal

Hansa Meyer USA with the help of our global colleagues, handled multiple shipments of major components for a clean coal power station in Mississippi, USA.  Hansa Meyer delivered 3,030 frt including 44 packages break bulk from Shanghai via New Orleans to Mississippi, 8 containers from Germany, and 19 containers from China.  The clean coal power station will capture 65% of total emissions resulting in 3.5 million tons per year. Hansa Meyer delivered the Circular Stacker Reclaimer (above) and Main Housing (below) to Kemper County, Mississippi for our customer.  The main housing was rotated changing the width to the height, enabling a more direct OTR routing.

More “green” Power the old-fashioned way

Hydro Electric Power Generation is the oldest method of producing “green” power. Manitoba Hydro turned to TBEA Shenyang Transformer, China for the supply of a 95 MVA transformer.

Hansa Meyer offices in China and Houston, TX. handled in close cooperation. Most economical routing was identified as using liner service into Houston, then rail for the 110 MT main body, truck for the accessories.

The rail move was live monitored using one of Hansa-Meyer’s GPS transmitters.

Our Houston project manager was present during the offload process.
