Hydro Electric Power Generation is the oldest method of
producing “green” power. Manitoba Hydro turned to TBEA Shenyang Transformer,
China for the supply of a 95 MVA transformer.
Hansa Meyer offices in China and Houston, TX. handled in
close cooperation. Most economical routing was identified as using liner
service into Houston, then rail for the 110 MT main body, truck for the
accessories.
The rail move was live monitored using one of Hansa-Meyer’s
GPS transmitters.
Our Houston project manager was present during the offload
process.
