4 Tank Transports

Over the course of 17 days, Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging transported 4 tanks from Oklahoma City to Wichita, KS. Traveling 335 miles each trip, the tanks were transported using Hansa Meyer's Goldhofer 8 Line DR, with axles extended out to 18' wide, pulled by our Western Star. Each tank weighed 210,000 lbs and all four were successfully transported in back to back runs. Please enjoy the below pictures of this project.

204' Tank to Texas

Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging transported a 636,000 pound GOX tank 1,964 miles from Ohio to Texas. Over the course of nearly a month, the team worked during day moves and while the pictures don't show it, they endured some wicked mid-western winter weather. Our 2 Western Star Prime Movers pushed and pulled a beam/dolly configured trailer that Hansa Meyer custom fabricated in-house. The tank was successfully delivered. Major Move Through the South

Originating from Europe, and partnering with Hansa Meyer Germany, the US team received a press unit from the Port of Charleston and transported it over-the-road to the final destination in Alabama. Transportation of the press unit required 12 lines of Hansa Meyer's Dual Lane Goldhofer trailers, complete with 300 ton drop deck and Western Star pull and push trucks. Traveling from South Carolina to Alabama, moving primarily at night through GA and AL, highway patrol was required throughout the duration of the trip. It was quite a move to see. The local news outlets were on-hand asking about the details of the load. Very impressive and very well done by the Hansa Meyer Heavy Haul & Rigging Team.
